Public Transit Junkies
Well well. There's been no rain for the last few weeks except for the occasional light shower in the middle of the night. We decided to break that streak yesterday as I was traveling to 7th Kind's "The Space." I caught the bus near my place after wating for about 15 minutes, and then took the 1 hour trip downtown (usually about 30min.). I switched to the bus that would take me the extra 3 miles to "The Space" and was surprised to hear my name. "Mike!" Justin (7th Kind French Horn and Trumpet player) was caught in the same CTA hell as I. It's lucky for us that we caught the same bus, because the remaining hour long ride would've been extremely lonely. So we chatted about the band and it's beginnings, past whack-job members, and the other trumpet player's busted mouth.
